The Exquisite Data Symposium at the Williams College Museum of Art brought together a small group of museum professionals, art historians, digital artists, data scientists, interdisciplinary theorists and other practitioners working on problems related to visualizing or creatively presenting cultural data.
During a three-day gathering in November 2020, this group explored capacities and opportunities for using data and digital tools to open and explore cultural collections, and also imagined how art and collections might critique and refine digital tools and culture.
